Job summary

KT Healthcare is seeking a Paediatric Occupational Therapist to support children aged 8-16 in West Sussex, with EOTAS provision under EHCPs. The role is 2-2.5 days per week during the full academic year, starting September.

You will be HCPC registered and work with Autism, sensory processing differences, learning disabilities, mental health needs, and challenging behaviours, delivering assessments and evidence-based interventions. Travel across West Sussex is essential.

• Ability to travel throughout West Sussex is essential.

Paediatric Occupational Therapist

• We can offer this role on either an employed or associate basis:
  • Employed:£40,000-£49,000 FTE (pro rata)
  • Associate:£300 per day plus 55p per mile

We are looking for an experienced Paediatric Occupational Therapist to join our growing Therapeutic Services team, supporting children and young people aged 8-16 years who are receiving Education Otherwise Than AtSchool (EOTAS) provision as part of their Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs).

This is a 2-2.5 day per week position for the full academic year, starting in September.

About You

You will be HCPC registered and have experience working with children and young people with:

• Autism
• Sensory processing differences
• Learning disabilities
• Mental health needs
• Challenging behaviours

You'llbe confident undertaking assessments, delivering evidence-based interventions and contributing to EHCP provision. You will have experience supporting children to develop functional, sensory,motorand self-regulation skills to enable them to access education and achieve meaningful outcomes. Flexibility to travel throughout West Sussex is essential.

Successful candidates will also complete Children and Adolescent Needs and Strengths (CANS) training, fully funded as part of the role.
