Job summary

Bolton NHS Foundation Trust's Paediatric Speech and Language Therapy Service is seeking a Band 3 Speech and Language Therapy Assistant to support children with speech, language and communication needs in schools and community settings.

You will work with therapists, schools and families to deliver targeted interventions, contribute to training for educational staff, monitor progress and help embed communication-friendly approaches that enable children to participate, learn and thrive.

Qualifications

• Has significant experience working as a Speech and Language Therapy Assistant or in a closely related role.
• Has experience supporting children and young people with speech, language and communication needs.
• Has experience working collaboratively with schools and education staff.
• Is confident delivering interventions and adapting approaches to meet individual needs.
• Has excellent communication, organisation and interpersonal skills.
• Is passionate about improving outcomes for children and young people.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Band 3 Speech and Language Therapy Assistant to join Bolton's Paediatric Speech and Language Therapy Service.

In this role, you will work closely with Speech and Language Therapists, schools and families to support children and young people with speech, language and communication needs. You will deliver targeted interventions, contribute to training and support for educational staff, and help embed communication-friendly approaches within schools and other settings. Your work will directly influence children's ability to participate, learn and thrive.
