Job summary

Bolton NHS Foundation Trust’s Paediatric Speech and Language Therapy Service is seeking an experienced Band 4 SLT Assistant to support children and families. You will work with Speech and Language Therapists, schools and education staff to deliver targeted interventions and help embed communication-friendly approaches in schools across Bolton.

You will assist with training workshops, monitor progress and maintain records while building strong partnerships with schools, families and partner

Qualifications

• Experience as a Speech and Language Therapy Assistant or in a closely related role.
• Experience supporting children and young people with speech, language and communication needs.
• Experience working collaboratively with schools and education staff.
• Confident delivering interventions and adapting approaches to meet individual needs.
• Excellent communication, organisation and interpersonal skills.
• Passionate about improving outcomes for children and young people.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Band 4 Speech and Language Therapy Assistant to join Bolton's Paediatric Speech and Language Therapy Service. In this role, you will work closely with Speech and Language Therapists, schools and families to support children and young people with speech, language and communication needs. You will deliver targeted interventions, contribute to training and support for educational staff, and help embed communication-friendly approaches within schools and other settings.
