Job summary

Chelsea Hall School in Earlsfield, London, seeks a HCPC registered Speech and Language Therapist to deliver therapy and education programmes for pupils aged 4-11 with mild to moderate learning needs.

You will prepare, deliver and evaluate support plans and integrate targets into each pupil's IEP, while collaborating with caregivers and teaching staff and contributing to safeguarding and appraisal processes.

Qualifications

• HCPC registered Speech and Language Therapist required.
• Experience in paediatric S&LT required.
• Knowledge of SEN/SpLD and safeguarding essential.
• Knowledge of risk management, health & safety, and child protection practices.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine speech, language and communication needs.
• Plan, deliver and evaluate 1:1 and group therapy programmes (receptive/expressive language, attention, listening, social communication, AAC).
• Manage caseload of children with ASD, global developmental delay, and related needs.
• Prepare for and participate in team and parent meetings, IEPs and EHCP reviews.
• Train staff in therapeutic strategies and liaise with caregivers and teaching staff.
