Job summary

ProfDoc Healthcare Ltd in Leicester is seeking a Senior 2 (Band 6) Paediatric Speech and Language Therapist for an ASAP-start, one-year contract. The role covers paediatric clinics, community settings and schools, with a varied caseload and a supportive MDT.

HCPC registration and RCSLT membership are required; at least two years' paediatric experience and ability to work flexibly within the MDT are essential.

We’re hiring a Senior 2 (Band 6) Paediatric Speech and Language Therapist for an ASAP start on a one-year contract, working across SLT clinics, community settings and schools.

Key Info:

• £40,621 - £51,354 per annum
• One-year contract with an ASAP start
• Varied paediatric caseload across clinics, community settings and schools
• Supportive multidisciplinary team and Band 7 SLT colleagues
• Opportunity to work with children aged 0–17
• Experience across developmental language disorder, speech/sound articulation disorders, learning disability, autism spectrum disorders and fluency difficulties
• Dysphagia experience desirable

Requirements:

• HCPC registered and RCSLT member
• Minimum two years’ clinical experience working with children aged 0-17
• Experience managing a broad paediatric communication caseload
• Ability to work flexibly and resourcefully within the wider paediatric MDT
