Fantastic Opportunity: Full-Time Children's Physiotherapist
The Children's Physiotherapy Team at St Mary’s Hospital London offers a comprehensive acute and community service to the Central & North Westminster and North Kensington & Chelsea localities. We are thrilled to announce this exceptional opportunity to join our team full-time.
As a member of our Children's Physiotherapy Service, you will provide high-quality physiotherapy for children and young people (CYP) with complex needs attending QEII Jubilee School and College Park School, both part of the Federation of Westminster Special Schools & Bi-Borough Inclusion Service. Primarily based at QEII Jubilee School, you will collaborate with multi-disciplinary and multi-agency teams across education, health, and social care to support CYP in achieving their full potential.
Therapy provision is deeply embedded within the school culture and educational approach for pupils. QEII Jubilee School boasts facilities such as aqua therapy, rebound therapy, sensory rooms, and spacious classrooms to support an integrated therapy approach.
Strong teamwork and communication skills are essential, as you will be responsible for training physiotherapy, school, and multi-agency staff, as well as supporting parents and carers.
The Children's Therapies Service is dedicated to evidence-based practice, and we encourage and support professional development and service improvement projects.
