An exciting opportunity has arisen fora Specialist Paediatric Physiotherapist to work within the childrenand young peoples team in Worcestershire alongside our Children`s CommunityNursing Service (Orchard Service). The post would be based in our PaediatricPhysiotherapy team, where leadership and supervision will be provided. Our Nursing service will support clinical managementof this caseload.
1. Provide a respiratory physiotherapy serviceto children with complex health needs, with aim of preventing hospitaladmission.
2. Work in collaboration with theOrchard Team
3. Follow developed pathway criteria,treatment modalities and a competency and training package
4. Offer training to families, carers,other professionals in respiratory management for this identified cohort ofpatients.
5. Collection of data to report to ICB
6. To act as a source of clinicalexpertise/advice and guidance for families, carers and other members of the MDTincluding health, education and social care
