About the role:
This role will see you provide comprehensive and evidence based paediatric physiotherapy services to children with typical development problems, including developmental delay, musculoskeletal and neurological conditions.
You will be based within the Tamworth Child and Family Allied Health team, which forms part of a broader Allied Health team that provides support and a range of professional development opportunities.

This position sits within the Child and Family Allied Health Team at Tamworth Community Health Service. The Child and Family Allied Health team is a large multidisciplinary team providing clinical services to children aged 0-17 years of age in Tamworth and surrounding areas.We’re a positive, tight-knit team that values connection and collaboration. We celebrate birthdays, participate in community events, and support one another through regular supervision and informal catch-ups. There’s a genuine sense of camaraderie that extends beyond the day-to-day work.
You will work in partnership with other physiotherapists and professionals, including but not exclusive to occupational therapists, Paediatricians Aboriginal Health Workers and child and family nurses. You will be supported clinically by the Northern Profession Lead for physiotherapy and engage in monthly clinical supervision.
About you:
We are looking for someone who is passionate about child development and approaches client care through a holistic framework. You will demonstrate a strong work ethic, excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently. Additionally, you will bring valuable experience in delivering culturally responsive services, ensuring inclusive and respectful support for diverse communities.
