Job overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a band Paediatric Physiotherapist to join the Community Paediatric Therapy Team based in Peterborough. This post is initially for a fixed term -month contract giving opportunities for a band looking to develop experience or for an established band clinician.

We are looking for someone who is highly motivated, enthusiastic and can work independently or as part of a team. You will be joining a well-established multi-disciplinary service. In this role you will be encouraged to develop your clinical and teaching skills as well as your personal leadership skills.

You will be part of a dynamic and committed team, delivering high quality services to children and young people in Peterborough with neuro developmental physical disability. You will be working with children aged - years in a variety of community settings including educational establishments.

The successful candidate will be required to manage an independent caseload of children with varying levels of neurological disability. They must be able to work flexibly in various locations/settings within and around the Peterborough area.

You will be offered regular supervision, protected CPD time, opportunities to contribute towards service development and other support to grow your clinical and leadership skills.

Main duties of the job

To provide a high standard, cost-effective specialised physiotherapy service for children and young people presenting with general developmental delay, disorder of movement or neuro-physical disability in the community of Peterborough.

To work with other team members to co-ordinate and develop the physiotherapy service.
