Job summary

Momenta Connect is seeking an Occupational Therapist to grow clinical skills within paediatric settings and a supportive multi-disciplinary team. The role focuses on enabling children and young people to reach their potential through school and clinical practices, with tailored training and supervision.

You’ll work in school-based and clinic settings, delivering targeted OT interventions, assessments, and collaboration with families and teachers to integrate goals into daily life.

Qualifications

• HCPC and RCOT registration.
• Undergraduate or Masters degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Paediatric occupational therapy experience, ideally in school-based or specialist settings.
• Experience completing assessments for Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCP).
• Experience supporting children and young people with SEMH, complex or developmental needs.
• Specialist CPD, trauma-informed practice or related training.

Responsibilities

• Assess children and young people’s developmental and learning needs, including EHCP-related needs.
• Develop, deliver and review individualised occupational therapy intervention plans.
• Work with parents, carers, teaching teams and multi-disciplinary colleagues to embed therapy goals into daily life.
• Equip key adults with practical strategies, evaluate impact, maintain documentation and contribute to MDT meetings.
