Job summary

Bupa at Cromwell Hospital in Kensington is seeking a Bank Children and Young People’s Occupational Therapist to join a new CYP therapy department. You’ll deliver autonomous, client-centred assessments and interventions for babies, children and adolescents in an outpatient setting, liaising with a MDT to support development and learning needs.

The role requires HCPC registration, OT degree, Enhanced DBS, and UK healthcare experience, with opportunities to influence service growth within a private

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Therapy
• HCPC registration
• Enhanced DBS clearance
• Experience with babies, children and young people including neurodevelopmental conditions
• Knowledge of standardised paediatric assessments and outcome measures

Responsibilities

• Practise as an autonomous professional using clinical reasoning for specialist assessments and interventions for each patient.
• Provide information, education and support for families and carers.
• Obtain informed consent and involve patients in their care plan.
• Liaise with colleagues to coordinate treatments and aftercare.
• Promote dignity, privacy and safety, respecting cultural needs.
• Complete mandatory training per hospital policy.
