Job summary

HCRG Care Group is recruiting a Bank Senior Paediatric Occupational Therapist to join a multidisciplinary team of clinicians. You will assess children, develop and oversee treatment plans, and support families in self-management using evidence-based practice.

The role requires HCPC registration with a paediatric focus and at least 2 years post-graduate experience. You will supervise junior staff, manage caseloads, and contribute to service improvements.

Qualifications

• Essential Diploma/Degree in Occupational Therapy with HCPC registration.
• Minimum 2 years post-graduate paediatric OT experience.
• Evidence of CPD and post-graduate training (child development, ASD, ADHD).

Responsibilities

• Assess children with performance difficulties and plan interventions.
• Formulate treatment plans and evaluate outcomes.
• Supervise students and Band 5 staff; assist with appraisals.
• Liaise with health, education and social care professionals; attend case conferences.
• Ensure safeguarding and maintain accurate records.
