George Watson’s College invites applications for a Nursing Services Manager to oversee school nursing and clinical care for pupils. The role combines strategic leadership with hands-on nursing work, ensuring high-quality care and adherence to NMC standards.

The post requires active nursing practice alongside management duties. Hours are 36.25 per week over 47 weeks per year, with term-time working and pay progression, plus a market supplement to align with RC NMC scale 7.

Qualificações

• RGN/RN qualified or a degree in a relevant Nursing qualification.
• Current Registration with the NMC.
• Experience of managing a team and performance management.
• Extensive nursing experience and safeguarding awareness.
• Knowledge of NMC Code of Professional Conduct and required practice.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the team of nurses to meet pupil health needs per guidance.
• Oversee professional development and re-registration of NMC.
• Plan and deliver training for teachers, staff and pupils.
• Manage rostering to maintain 60/40 nursing ratio; ensure coverage.
