Job summary

Mid Cheshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Paediatric Staff Nurse to join the Child and Adolescent Unit in Crewe. Qualifications

• Paediatric nursing qualification and registration (NMC) preferred.
• Experience in child health settings is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive assessment of patient nursing needs, plan, implement and evaluate care.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to ensure patient needs are met.
• Involve patients and families in the delivery of care and provide reassurance and support.
• Prepare clinical areas for safe practice and maintain cleanliness and equipment.
• Provide escort and transfer for patients as directed by the team.
• Recognise and respond to urgent and emergency situations.
• Collect, collate and report information with accurate patient records.
