Paediatric Nurse – FlexiBank
Locations: 9 and 25 Harley Street, London
Hourly Rate: Competitive – Dependent on Skillset and Experience

Phoenix Hospital Group is seeking a compassionate and experienced Paediatric Nurse to join our team at our prestigious Harley Street locations. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the growth of our paediatric services within a supportive and professional environment.

Please note: This is a FlexiBank role, working on an as and when required basis. You will help supplement staffing levels during peak periods and provide cover during staff absences or annual leave.

Reporting to the Head of Nursing, your role will be to provide the highest standard of individualised, family-centred care. You will ensure the comfort and safety of patients and their families during their visit or admission to the hospital.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and support the experience of children and young people through outpatient services.
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure care is delivered in line with hospital policies, national guidelines, and best practice.
  • Support the development of services and help maintain high standards of nursing practice.
  • Registered Paediatric Nurse with the NMC.
  • Minimum of 2 years post-qualification experience.
  • Able to demonstrate competencies in caring for infants through to young adults.
  • Strong clinical nursing experience with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Paediatric phlebotomy is an essential skill for this role.
  • Proven skills in distraction and positioning techniques.
  • Up-to-date knowledge and implementation of safeguarding practices.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and web-based reporting systems.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • PILS (Paediatric Immediate Life Support) certification (training and support available if not currently held).
  • Previous experience in the private healthcare sector.
  • Enhanced clinical skills such as Cannulation and ECGs.
  • Experience in assisting with minor procedures.
