Job summary

Leeds Children's Hospital, part of Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust, is seeking an Assistant Psychologist to join the Paediatric Neuropsychology Team. The role focuses on predominantly out-patient neuropsychological assessments and clinical support within the team, based at Martin Wing, Leeds General Infirmary.

You will participate in administering tests, data collection, and research tasks while coordinating workload and liaising with clinicians and therapists.

Qualifications

• Undertake neurocognitive assessments of paediatric patients and research participants.

Responsibilities

• To undertake neurocognitive assessments of paediatric patients and research participants.
• To undertake data collection, data entry and analysis.
• To undertake searches of evidence-based literature.
• To provide coordination and assist in the running of the research activities.
• To be responsible for organising and co-ordinating own workload.
• To work constructively with other staff involved in the research project.
• To maintain the highest standards of clinical record keeping and report writing in accordance with professional codes of practice of the British Psychological Society, Trust and Department policies and procedures.
• To perform other duties of a similar kind appropriate to the grade, which may be required from time to time by the Consultant Paediatric Neuropsychologist.
