Job summary

University Hospitals Plymouth NHS Trust is seeking an enthusiastic dietitian to join our Community Dietetics team based in Plymouth. You will manage a home enteral feeding caseload of paediatric patients across our community and school settings, delivering specialist dietetic care in the home.

We value broad dietetic experience across paediatrics and conditions, with autonomous practice and excellent communication with patients, families and multi-disciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable post registration dietetic experience in home enteral feeding.
• Senior level paediatric experience including home enteral tube feeding.
• Excellent communication skills with patients and carers.

Responsibilities

• Manage paediatric HEF caseload in home settings including residential homes/schools and day centres.
• Provide autonomous dietetic treatment and advice for a diverse paediatric caseload.
• Deliver specialist nutrition support to paediatric patients in the community and liaise with other health professionals.
