Job summary

Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust is seeking a paediatric emergency nurse with at least one year of ED experience to join a busy Children’s Emergency Department in London. You will gain paediatric emergency nursing skills through university and in-house training, including triage, venipuncture, cannulation and APLS/EPLS.

A structured induction and a bespoke preceptorship are available to support all levels of experience.

Qualifications

• Overseas-trained nurses must complete CBT and English language tests within 6 months.
• NMC registration with Paediatrics or CBT/IELTS/OET readiness is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide paediatric emergency care in a fast-paced ED.
• Support induction and participate in the new preceptorship programme.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to deliver paediatric care.
