A regional healthcare provider in Milton Keynes is seeking a Paediatric Dietitian to join the proactive dietetic team. This role involves providing dietetic services for children on home enteral feeds and collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams. Band 6 £38,682 - £46,580 per annum pro rata if Part-time
Hours 37.5 hrs per week, all MKUH roles will be considered for flexible /part time working
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dietitian to join our friendly, proactive and supportive paediatric dietetic team, based at Milton Keynes University Hospital. The post will be working with our B7 Paediatric Home Enteral Feeding Dietitian and B7 Learning Disabilities Dietitian to support patients/clients who are receiving enteral feeds at home and will be an excellent opportunity to develop knowledge and skills.
You should be enthusiastic, with great communication and time management skills and an ability to be flexible and have a strong commitment to teamwork.
The successful candidate will work closely with the wider multi-disciplinary teams in community settings and support to training, joint visits etc. In addition, they will work with the Prescribing Support Dietitian to review appropriate provision of feeds and ancillaries.
The paediatric dietetic team consists of 6 dietitians and a dietetic assistant practitioner providing a service to a number of specialist areas including allergy, cystic fibrosis, diabetes, neonatal unit, and home enteral feeding.
