Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide specialised nursing care and support to paediatric patients diagnosed with diabetes.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments, develop individualised care plans, and provide ongoing education to patients and families.
• Monitor blood glucose levels, administer insulin, and assist with diabetes management techniques.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care and optimal patient outcomes.
• Facilitate diabetes education sessions for patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
• Maintain accurate documentation and participate in quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

• Registered Nurse (RN) qualification with a valid Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) registration.
• Specialist qualification or significant experience in paediatric diabetes nursing in community setting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
