Job summary

St George's, Epsom and St Helier University Hospitals and Health Group invites applications for an 8 PA consultant post in Paediatric Dentistry based at St Helier Hospital. The role may involve working at other Trust locations as required by service needs.

The successful candidate will contribute to joint paediatric dentistry and orthodontic clinics and provide a high-quality clinical service to paediatric patients.

Qualifications

• Must be fully registered with the GDC and included on the GDC Specialist Register in Paediatric Dentistry.
• Hold FDS/MFDS or an equivalent qualification.
• Be accredited, or within six months of achieving accreditation, at the time of interview.
• Have completed a SAC-approved training programme or equivalent.
• Hold the appropriate professional registration and licence to practise.
• Be on the relevant Specialist Register, or within six months of obtaining CCT or an equivalent qualification, at the time of interview.

Responsibilities

• Provide a comprehensive, high-quality clinical service to patients within Paediatric Dentistry.
• Contribute to joint paediatric dentistry and orthodontic clinics.
• Work collaboratively within the multidisciplinary team.
• Be flexible to work at other locations owned or served by the Trust as required by service needs.
