A healthcare service in Grimsby is seeking a Paediatric Continence Health Care Assistant to join their team. The role involves delivering assessments and support for children experiencing continence issues. Qualified candidates should have a Level 3 in Health and Social Care, along with experience working with children. This part-time position offers a salary of £24,100 pro rata, with opportunities for training and development.
The Bladder and Bowel service offers specialistadvice support and treatment to children, young people and adults living withinthe North East Lincolnshire area.
The serviceaims to provide timely specialist assessment and treatment of children withcomplex continence problems, ensuring when required, that the most appropriateproducts are prescribed to manage their bladder and bowel symptoms. The serviceprovides continence education and training and acts as a resource on mattersrelating to continence.

The post holder will:
Work part of the Bladder and Bowel Care teamdelivering level 1 bladder and bowel assessments and carrying out a range ofclinical duties with minimal or no supervision delivering an holistic approach.
To carry out an assessment for incontinence products without supervisionand provide education and support on how to use the recommended products topatients and their carers according to their care plan.
To undertake and successfully complete all trainingwithin the competencies that are relevant to the care of patients.
