Job summary

Komplex Group is offering a Paediatric Care Assistant role in Wakefield, West Yorkshire. You will support a child with lifelong complex needs at home, following detailed care plans and working within a nurse-led team. The role includes day shifts and sleep nights, with a pay rate of £16.00 per hour plus a sleep rate.

You will provide personal care, monitor health, administer medications where appropriate and maintain meticulous records. A full UK driving licence and care experience are required.

Qualifications

• Must have driving licence and care experience.
• Ability to follow clinical care plans and protocols.
• Good record-keeping and IT literacy for care notes.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care, medications and clinical interventions.
• Monitor vital signs and recognise deterioration.
• Maintain accurate care records and escalate concerns promptly.
