Job summary

Komplex Care is seeking a Paediatric Care Assistant to join a nurse-led team in Cabus, Preston. You will work 3–4 day shifts weekly, provide specialist care including ventilation and tracheostomy support, and ensure patient safety and comfort at home. Nights may be available.

The role requires compassionate, dependable, and detail-oriented individuals with a full UK driving licence and the ability to follow detailed clinical protocols. Training and ongoing clinical oversight are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in care or confidence undertaking clinical training.
• A full UK driving licence.
• Excellent attention to detail and situational awareness.
• The ability to follow detailed clinical protocols consistently.

Responsibilities

• Providing personal care, medication and clinical interventions.
• Managing tracheostomies, ventilation and specialist equipment.
• Monitoring clinical observations and recognising deterioration.
• Maintaining accurate records and escalating concerns immediately.
