Job summary

South Warwickshire NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting an experienced nurse to join the Acute Paediatric Team at Warwick Hospital. You will contribute to a forward-thinking paediatric service, delivering family-centred care to children, young people and their families.

The unit includes MacGregor Ward with 17 beds, a Paediatric Outpatient Area and a 5-bed Paediatric Assessment Unit. We value professional development and flexible working to include nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Lead and co-ordinate the Acute Paediatric Team to deliver high-quality family centred care.
• Work with Paediatric clinicians and specialists to maintain high standards.
• Be flexible to cover nights and weekends as needed.
• Support professional development and training opportunities.
• Promote safe, compassionate care in line with ward philosophy.

Job description

South Warwickshire NHS Foundation Trust are looking for dedicated and forward-thinking experienced nurse to join our Acute Paediatric Team based at Warwick Hospital.

The Paediatric Unit is comprised of; MacGregor Ward, a 17 inpatient Paediatric beds (including High Dependency Beds), a Paediatric Outpatient Area, and a 5 bedded Paediatric Assessment Unit (PAU).

We work closely with the Emergency department and within our team we have our clinicians, Paediatric ACPs, Paediatric Physiotherapists and Specialist nurses who you will work alongside.

Ideally you will need to be able to work flexibly including nights and weekends. However we will consider flexible working arrangements
