Job Description:

A fantastic new job opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Paediatric Anaesthetic Registrar/Fellow to work in an exceptional independent private hospital next to Central London. You will be working for one of the UK’s leading healthcare providers.

This is one of the UK’s largest independent charitable hospitals, committed to high-quality care, diverse services, and excellent staff and consultants.

To be considered for this position, you must be a non-training grade doctor with demonstrated paediatric experience.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing high-quality elective and emergency anaesthetic services
  • Engaging in clinical governance activities such as incident reporting, morbidity and mortality meetings, audits, and mandatory training
  • Teaching and training other anaesthetic department and hospital staff
  • Participating in quality improvement activities
  • Performing management and administrative tasks as appropriate

The following skills and experience are preferred:

  • Post FRCA stage 2 or 3 trainees, or completed stage 2 paediatric competencies, or Non HEE trainees who have completed FRCA and competencies
  • Commitment to supporting hospital development of a safe paediatric day case surgical pathway
  • Understanding of Diversity and Inclusion challenges
  • Ability to work under pressure in a multidisciplinary environment
  • Ability to prioritize clinical needs
