Job summary

Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Paediatric Ambulatory Nurse to join the team. You will work autonomously, delivering high-quality evidence-based care in designated paediatric ambulatory settings and collaborate with colleagues to enhance patient experience and outcomes.

You will be responsible for clinical procedures, medicine administration, and maintaining accurate documentation in line with Trust and NMC standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in acute general paediatrics.
• Able to demonstrate MDT (multidisciplinary team) working.
• NHS experience preferred.
• Competent in venepuncture and cannulation.

Responsibilities

• Carry out clinical practice with high quality evidence-based care.
• Complete nursing/clinical procedures with appropriate knowledge and experience.
• Act as advocate for patients to ensure patient-focused care.
• Ensure high quality clinical care and positive patient experience.
• Monitor patient progress and maintain accurate records of observations and assessments.
