Job overview To provide effective clinical and holistic individualised family centred care to the patients and families during their out-patient appointment, ensuring delivery is to the highest standard. Maintaining evidenced based practice is performed at all times, being responsible for updating own knowledge and skills in line with the Trust polices, multidisciplinary team and the NMC Code. Developing leadership skills, actively participating in service development.
Main duties of the job Carry out all relevant forms of nursing care and patient management for children aged from birth to 16 years (this may be extended for children with chronic/complex conditions) Participate in the supervision and teaching of new members of staff including nursing students and paramedics
