Job summary

Social Sports Society is seeking a Padel Coach to design and deliver coaching programmes across clubs in the UK, leading to higher participation and retention. You will work with the Director of Venues and Venue Manager to provide clear instruction and build a positive, inclusive environment.

The role requires a Level 2 Padel coaching qualification, proven coaching or playing experience, and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum Level 2 Padel coaching qualification from an accredited body.
• Proven experience as a padel coach or playing padel at a competitive level.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with diverse players.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver effective padel coaching sessions for individuals and groups.
• Deliver private tuition, group lessons and host social tournaments.
• Provide clear instruction on strokes, footwork and positioning.
• Motivate players and foster a positive learning environment.
• Maintain safe, inclusive coaching atmosphere and follow safety protocols.
• Assist with development and coaching of junior team members.
• Participate in promotional activities to grow the padel community.

Do you have a deep passion for and understanding of padel and a desire to share your knowledge and enthusiasm with others? Are you passionate about helping people improve their game and reach their full potential? If so, we'd love for you to join our team as a Padel Coach! We have opportunities for full time and part time self-employed coaches across all of our clubs in London, Bristol, Derby and more to come as we expand across the UK. As a Padel Coach you will work closely with the Director of Venues and Venue Manager to develop and be responsible for delivering a comprehensive padel programme, leading to increased participation and customer growth and retention. Excellent customer service and satisfaction is central to our mission and ensuring the Social Sports Society community is at the forefront of our work.

• Design and deliver effective padel coaching sessions for individuals and groups, catering to various skill levels.
• Deliver private tuition, group lessons and host social tournaments.
• Provide clear and concise instruction, demonstrating proper strokes, footwork, and positioning.
• Motivate and encourage players, fostering a positive and supportive learning environment.
• Maintain a safe and inclusive coaching atmosphere, adhering to all safety protocols.
• Help train and coach junior team members, to improve their padel technique and coaching skills.
• Assist with Activator and Manager padel development.
• May participate in promotional activities and help grow the padel community within the venue.
• Have a minimum Level 2 Padel coaching qualification from an accredited body
• Proven experience as a padel coach or playing padel at a competitive level.
• Strong knowledge of padel rules, strategies, and techniques.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with players of all backgrounds.
• Ability to effectively demonstrate and explain technical concepts in a clear and concise manner.
• Passion for coaching and a desire to help players improve their game.
• Patience, enthusiasm and a positive attitude.
• First Aid and CPR certification a plus.
