Summary
Our compounding department is currently searching for a Packing Technician to join their fast-paced team. You will be responsible for supporting the compounding operation which manufactures aseptically compounded products such as chemotherapy, antibiotics and total parent nutrition. This role is Monday-Friday 13:00-21:00 so please only apply if these hours are suitable for you.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • To pack products of a high standard and release according to specific timeframes
  • To perform routine quality checks on the product as part of the compounding process
  • To check batch numbers thoroughly and escalate any problems
  • Follow standard operating procedures
  • To cover operators during periods of sickness/leave
  • Occasionally work in a cleanroom environment
  • To understand the products are patient specific and must meet a high level of quality always
  • To perform and record all cleaning for the equipment and areas of work as and when required
  • To notify Team leaders/Supervisors/Managers/Quality Assurance of any deviations from the process
Essential experience
  • Experience in a similar role is desired but not essential
  • The ability to communicate and work as part of a cross functional team is crucial
  • Strong work ethic and flexibility to meet the needs of the business
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent attention to detail (you will be required to check batch numbers and measurements)
  • Must be willing to work in a cleanroom environment (full gowning procedure to be followed including face being covered)
  • Strong Maths & English skills
