Job summary
ALPLA Group in Golborne is seeking Packing Team Members to join our busy manufacturing site operating 24/7. The role is full-time and permanent, with a 4 on 4 off schedule and 12-hour day/night shifts. The advertised salary is £29,250 per annum plus benefits.
You will work within a team of packing operatives, contributing to quality packaging for major clients. Previous packing experience is advantageous, and a strong commitment to health and safety is expected.

At our Golborne site WA 3 3JD (5 mins from the J22 or J23 M6) based on the East Lancs Road, we employ over 270 colleagues' who produce a number of packaging solutions on a 24/7 basis for major international customers.
The successful candidates will join an established team of Packing Operatives covering a number of 24/7 machines. You will have previous or current experience working in a very busy manufacturing environment; you will need to be H\&S aware and an excellent communicator.
- Previous packing experience in fast paced manufacturing environment would be advantageous
- Some FMCG industry awareness of housekeeping and hygiene standards
- Good Health and Safety awareness
- Reliable, self-motivated, and resourceful approach to work in manufacturing warehouse
- Proactive, methodical, and accurate/safe working methods
- Excellent Communication and team working skills
- Ability to learn fast and safely
