Job description

Thrive Group are delighted to be working with our client in Frome, who is actively looking to recruit a Packing Team Leader to join the team their growing team on a permanent basis

What you will be doing:

As the Packing Team Leader you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the picking, packing, and production activities to ensure efficiency, quality, and timely completion of orders.

  • Supervise picking and packing activities to ensure accurate and efficient order fulfilment
  • Ensure that all products meet company standards for quality and safety, conducting regular inspections and audits.
  • Assign tasks, monitor team performance, and provide real-time feedback to ensure smooth operations.
  • Monitor and maintain inventory levels, ensuring products are available for picking and packing according to demand.

What you will need to succeed:
  • Proven experience in a supervisory role within production, logistics, or a fast-paced warehouse environment.
  • Experience working in a FMCG manufacturing environment.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage and motivate a diverse team to achieve operational targets
  • High attention to detail and commitment to maintaining quality standards.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Familiarity with inventory management systems and logistics software is a plus.

What you will receive in return:
  • GBP28,000 to GBP32,000 per annum (DOE)
  • Monday to Friday 09.00AM to 17.00PM - 37.30 hours per week
