Working Hours: This role operates on a rotation of days, nights, and weekends. Further details will be provided at your interview.

This role requires flexibility to cover colleagues' shifts on an overtime basis as needed.

Schedule:

  1. Week 1 – Monday-Wednesday nights & Saturday and Sunday days
  2. Week 2 – Thursday and Friday days

Duration: Temp to perm

We are seeking a Packing Operative to join a fantastic employer in Beaminster who values diversity and inclusion.

This role is suitable for someone with previous experience in a packing environment, ideally within food, and who demonstrates a high level of reliability.

The job responsibilities include:
  • Maintaining high standards of personal and food safety.
  • Packing final products to meet customer specifications.
  • Stock control management.
  • Batching ingredients in preparation for production.
  • Operating and monitoring spray dry powder processes.
  • Timely reporting of plant issues to the engineering team.
  • Participating in team problem-solving activities.
The candidate should have:
  • Proficiency with IT (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Ability to work well in a team and independently.
  • High standards of work quality.
  • Counterbalance forklift license (preferred).
  • Experience in a process/packing environment (desirable).
  • Basic food hygiene and health & safety qualifications.
