Job summary

Todd Hayes Ltd in Great Yarmouth is seeking a Packing Operator to join their Production team on a full-time basis. You will support the Line Leader to ensure batches are produced on time and to the required quality standards, following all GMP procedures.

The role involves stock preparation, safe handling, quality checks and line clearances, with full training and opportunities for development within a dynamic pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Support the Line Leader to ensure batches are produced on time and to the required quality standards and in accordance with procedures.
• Ensure stock (bulk and components) is supplied to the line.
• Safe use of manual handling equipment (electric pallet trucks).
• Competent in safe handling of spills.
• Competent use of IFS (quality systems).
• Perform in-process checks and clearances.
• Operate the line proficiently and troubleshoot minor issues.
• Arrange Engineering support when needed.
• Identify continuous improvement and waste reduction opportunities.

Packing Operator Our client, a successful and dynamic Pharmaceutical Manufacturing company, is currently seeking a Packing Operator to join their Production team.This is a full-time position, based in Great Yarmouth.

Hours

Week one

• Monday to Thursday 6am to 2pm
• Friday 6am to 1pm

Week two

• Monday to Thursday 1.45pm to 10pm
• Friday 12.45pm to 6.45pm

The role will work as part of the double days shift supporting the Line Leader in the safe and effective running of the production line. This role reports to the Line Leader.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Line Leader to ensure batches are produced on time and to the required quality standards and in accordance with relevant company procedures.
• Ensure stock (bulk and components) is supplied to the line to support delivery to plan.
• Safe use of manual handling equipment (electric pallet trucks etc).
• Competent is safe handling of spills.
• Competent use of IFS.
• Performing quality critical line clearances before and after a filling run.
• Completion of in process checks and associated quality critical documentation.
• Expert operation of the line, including minor troubleshooting.
• Arrange Engineering support when needed.
• Identifying continuous improvement and waste reduction opportunities and supporting their implementation.
• Assist with batch and product changeovers.
• Assess the team for competency in safe and effective operation of the line and GMP.
• Assist with training of team in safe and effective operation of the line and GMP.
• Support of Validation/trials/misc non-routine activities.
• Able to occasionally deputise for the Line Leader in their absence to ensure production is sustained.
