Job summary

Adecco is recruiting for a Packing Operative position in Perth. You will pack products to specification, select packaging materials, label and dispatch goods, while following SOPs and maintaining quality standards.

Ideal candidates will have experience in manufacturing or warehousing, strong attention to detail, good communication skills, basic IT literacy, and a proactive, reliable work ethic. Training is provided for success in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Pack products into boxes and tubing to specification.
  • Select packaging materials in line with SOPs.

  • Ensure products meet quality standards.
  • Record information and update systems as required.
  • Maintain a clean, safe and organised work area.
  • Work efficiently to meet production deadlines and targets.
  • Support colleagues and contribute to a positive team environment.

The Role

As a Packing Operative, you'll play a key role in ensuring products are packed accurately and efficiently before being dispatched to customers.

Working within a busy production environment, you'll follow established procedures and quality standards while supporting the wider team to meet production targets and deadlines.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Packing products into boxes and tubing to specification
  • Selecting the correct packaging materials in line with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Printing labels and preparing products for dispatch
  • Reading and interpreting work instructions and production documentation
  • Managing workloads and prioritising orders appropriately
  • Ensuring products are packed accurately and meet quality standards
  • Recording information and updating systems where required
  • Maintaining a clean, safe and organised work area
  • Working efficiently to achieve production deadlines and targets
  • Supporting colleagues and contributing to a positive team environment
