Job summary

Interaction Recruitment is recruiting for a Packing Operative in Kettering. The role runs Monday to Friday, 06:00-14:00 with overtime available. Pay is £13.56 per hour, with overtime £20.34 per hour after a full week.

Training is provided, and the job offers long-term career progression within the company. Daily duties include packing on/off the production line, feeding the line, fault finding and resolving issues, quality checking, and stock movement.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail is essential for quality checks and packing accuracy.

• Interest in machinery is beneficial for understanding equipment.
• Experience in an engineering environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Pack items on the production line and off the line.
• Feed and monitor the line to ensure smooth operation.
• Carry out fault finding and resolve simple issues.
• Perform quality checks on packed goods.
• Move stock and manage basic warehouse movements.

They are one of the largest and most professional, independently owned businesses in the local area who offer laminating services.

This role is physically demanding and will be working in a hot environment so you should be prepared for that.
