Great opportunity to work as a Packing Operative for our client's food and veg produce site, which grows fruit and veg, packs and distributes it across the country.
Staffline is recruiting Packing Operatives in Selby.
The rate of pay is £12.21 per hour.
Overtime is available after working 46 hours, paid at £15.26 per hour.
This is a full-time role working 12-hour shifts, Monday to Sunday (4 shifts between these days), and the hours of work are:
- 6am to 6pm
Applicants must be able to get to the location because there is no public transport around the site (YO8 8HD).
Your Time at Work
As a Packing Operative, your duties include:
- Working on a fast-paced packing line
- Packing fresh produce in terms of Cucumbers, Tomatoes and Aubergines
- Rotate around jobs within the pack house to give a variety
- Working in a chilled environment so appropriate clothing is required
Our Perfect Worker
Our perfect Packing Operative will be fit and healthy as it requires long periods of concentration. You must be able to lift heavy items.
No previous experience necessary as full training is provided.
