Job summary

Mondelēz International in Sheffield is seeking a Packing/Manufacturing Operative for a temporary, ongoing role at our Livesey Street facility. You’ll work across multiple shifts (Morning/Afternoon/Night) to support the production line, ensure quality, and help maintain a safe, efficient environment.

Ideal candidates will have packing/manufacturing experience, strong teamwork, and the ability to work quickly with attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Experience in packing or manufacturing in a warehouse or factory environment.
• Good written and spoken English.
• Able to work well in a team and communicate effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and speed capability.
• Physically capable of manual duties.
• Basic health and safety knowledge and basic computer skills.
• Flexible to work a variety of shifts during the week.

Responsibilities

• Check product quality and remove damaged items from the line.
• Ensure trays are correctly filled and stacked for the next stage.
• Maintain a clean, safe working environment following health and safety standards.
• Work with colleagues to meet daily production targets.
• Perform other duties as required to keep operations running smoothly.

We are searching for a skilled Packing/Manufacturing Operative to join the team at the leading manufacturing facility of Mondelēz International Basset's in Sheffield. This is your chance to play a key part in the production of iconic products!

Job Details

• Position: Packing/Manufacturing Operative
• Location: Livesey Street, Sheffield, S6 2AP
• Job Type: Temporary - ongoing
• Pay Rate: £12.71 - £15.51/hour
• Shifts: Morning: 5:50 AM - 1:50 PM, Afternoon: 1:50 PM - 9:50 PM, Night: 9:50 PM - 5:50 AM
  • Must be flexible with all the above shifts

Responsibilities

• Check product quality, meticulously removing any damaged or defective items from the production line.
• Ensure trays are correctly filled and stacked for the next stage of production.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment, strictly adhering to all health and safety standards.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to meet daily production targets.
• Perform other reasonable duties as required by the management team to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications

• Mandatory experience in packing or manufacturing within a warehouse or factory environment.
• Good understanding of English (written and spoken).
• Ability to work well within a team and communicate effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work at speed.
