Job summary

Thefreshproducecentre is seeking a Production Lead Operator to oversee a designated packing line in our UK facility. You will train and coach the line team, ensure adherence to procedures, and manage temporary staff while maintaining food safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Willingness to take on new challenges.
• Experience using SAP production management system.
• Experience on a food production line (e.g., flow wrappers, giro machines).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to lead and motivate a diverse team.

Responsibilities

• Train and manage the line's production team on procedures, practices and policies.
• Supervise temporary staff and provide initial training and ongoing coaching.
• Communicate standards in health, safety and hygiene and ensure compliance.
• Identify improvements to minimise waste and maximise workforce efficiency.
• Support management with sharing relevant information and driving continuous improvement.
