Job Title: Packing Line Operative

Join our team at Greencore, a leading food supplier to major supermarkets in the UK. Our Warrington site, known as the Italian centre of excellence, is a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility producing high-quality Italian ready meals for Tesco & Co-Op.

What you'll be doing

Working in a fast-paced environment, you will ensure the delivery of exceptional service to our customers. The role involves physical tasks such as pushing, pulling, and lifting.

• Setting up the packing line, including safe checking, sleeves, and scanning
• Operating machines following safety procedures
• Checking metal detectors, weighing, labels, and coding daily
• Reporting anomalies and issues
• Organizing workers on the line
• Working as part of a team in a chilled, noisy environment

Shift Pattern and Pay

Monday - Friday, 5:00 PM - 00:30 AM

Pay Rate: £13.49 per hour

• Good level of English and Maths
• Basic mechanical aptitude and computer skills
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently

• Basic understanding of health & safety and food hygiene (training provided)
