Job summary

A reputable food production company based in Carnaby is seeking a Packing Operator. In this role, you will operate the packing line for high quality products and prepare machinery for production. The position offers a starting rate of £12.25 per hour with opportunities for progression through training and overtime pay. Full training will be provided, and you will work Monday to Friday from 6:00 am to 2:00 pm.

Overview

You will be working as part of a strong and dedicated team.

Responsibilities

• Operate the packing line, packing high quality products in a fast-paced environment.
• Packing goods ready for shipment.
• Assemble product parts by hand.
• Prepare machinery before production and carry out testing to ensure all is in working order.
• Comply with our highest quality standards and that of the Food Standards Agency.
• Ensure relevant records and paperwork are completed on time.
• In this role you will be required to wear appropriate safety protection (PPE), and to comply with our high internal quality standards.

Compensation

Starting rate £12.25 per hour. Overtime rate 150%. Job progression: earn £12.25 per hour with the opportunity to increase through our dedicated training program.
