Job summary

Abtech Ltd in Sheffield is seeking a Packer / Assembly Operative to join our manufacturing team. This full-time role runs 40 hours per week, Monday–Thursday 7am–4pm and Friday 7am–1pm, with an early finish on Fridays.

You will pack finished goods, manage packing duties, and help ensure orders are dispatched accurately and on time. The ideal candidate has experience in fast-paced packing, is able to handle manual work safely, and communicates clearly with colleagues and customers.

Qualifications

• Experience of working in a fast-paced packing role within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience of manual handling.
• Excellent communication and listening skills, with a customer-focused approach.
• The ability to complete record sheets and paperwork accurately.
• Flexibility to work additional hours and overtime when required.

Responsibilities

• Support Production Team by ensuring finished products are safely packed and prepared for dispatch.
• Organise workload according to shipping deadlines and assist with progress tracking.
• Wrap products, weigh and label packages, and ensure readiness for dispatch.
