Job description

Job Title: Packer

Location: Pontyclun

Shifts:

  • AM: Monday to Friday 6am to 1:30pm
  • PM: Monday to Friday 1:30pm to 9:30pm
  • Nights: 11pm to 6am Sunday, Monday to Wednesday 9:30pm to 6am and Thursday 9:30pm to 2am

Pay Rate: £14.65 - Rotational shift pattern / £16.28 - Nights

We are looking for enthusiastic individuals with good team working skills and a 'can do’ attitude. You will be able to follow instructions effectively and work on your own initiative with good communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with Team leader / Production Coordinator to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Ensure that production targets are met and performance complies with company quality, environmental and safety policies
  • Lead safety by personal example
  • Raise housekeeping standards to departmental standards
  • Working in a fast paced environment

Requirements:

  • Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for quality.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience in a similar QC role within a manufacturing or food production environment is preferred but not essential.
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work the required shifts.
