Job description

Packaging Technician
Temporary ongoing
£14.03 per hour for the first 12 weeks
Worthing

After 12 weeks, with our client, you have the potential to earn £15.59 per hour (basic), with overtime at £23.72 per hour.

Our well-established client in Worthing is expanding their Packaging Department. We have a strong relationship with this client, and many of our temps have secured permanent roles, making this a great opportunity to build a career in the pharmaceutical industry.

The Role:
  1. Perform quality assurance checks on finished packaging.
  2. Assemble boxes, packaging materials, and labels.
  3. Understand Good Manufacturing Practice (training provided).
  4. Update documentation.
  5. Work on a weekly rotating shift basis: early (7:00am - 2:30pm) one week, late (2:15pm - 10:00pm) the next.
Key Skills Required:
  1. Ability to work on your feet in a fast-paced environment.
  2. Ability to operate packaging machinery (training provided).
  3. Good work ethic and team player.
Desirable Skills:
  1. Basic English (reading and writing) and Maths skills (GCSEs).
  2. Experience in a busy production or packaging environment.
