Job summary

Organon is hiring a Project Packaging Support Technician (FTC) to join the Transformation team and deliver the world’s biggest capital project. You will help install high speed blister lines and support multiple sub-streams across design, build, testing and implementation.

The role is a 24‑month Fixed Term Contract with duties evolving per project phase, requiring strong packaging operations experience and the ability to work with cross-functional teams in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Strong background in packaging operations.
• Technical qualification (e.g. Level 3 Mechanical Engineering) or equivalent experience.
• Experience supporting technical transfers, equipment qualification, or process validation.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications and tooling requirements.
• Good problem solver with ability to diagnose multiple break-down scenarios.

Responsibilities

• Perform fault finding on equipment, including automated systems and networks.
• Support packaging project activities within agreed timelines and budgets (FAT, SAT, IQ/OQ, PQ, PV).
• Maintain and repair equipment so packaging priorities are met and performance is optimal.
• Raise Change Control and Atypical Engineering Maintenance Observations and manage to completion.
• Support cGMP documentation, work orders in the CMMS, and assist Packaging and Validation Engineers.
• Mentor operators on technical skills and support training for new processes and machinery.
