Job summary

Aumovio SE is seeking a packaging and supply chain professional to lead packaging design, trials and continuous improvement across UK operations. The role focuses on delivering efficient material flows, BOM and master data governance, and cross-functional project leadership for new product launches.

You will collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, purchasing, quality, and logistics teams to optimise packaging, logistics concepts, and reporting while ensuring compliance with UK/EU packaging

Qualifications

• Technical/business qualification in supply chain, logistics, packaging engineering or equivalent.
• Lean/Six Sigma or packaging compliance training desirable.
• Experience in production planning, material control or materials management within automotive/industrial manufacturing.
• Experience supporting new product launch, packaging implementation, BOM/master-data creation, and material requirements planning setup.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional project teams, suppliers and stakeholders is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop, specify and maintain optimal packaging solutions across the site, balancing localisation, cost, product protection, storage density, handling efficiency and environmental impact.
• Lead packaging trials, approvals, standards and continuous improvement activities.
• Analyse and optimise supply chain management material flows from goods receiving to dispatch with improvements.
• Support cost data capture and reporting to identify cost drivers and improvements.
• Support teams with packaging, flow and supply chain inputs for projects and changes.
• Document packaging standards, maintain work instructions, and train relevant teams.
• Investigate logistics, packaging and material-flow issues to drive corrective actions and reduce disruption.
