Job summary

Sysco Fairfax Meadow in Derby is seeking a Packaging Supervisor to lead and optimise the packing and transfer functions in a fast-paced factory setting. The role reports to the Factory Manager/Production Managers and requires strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills to drive daily performance.

You will oversee a Monday to Friday schedule with evening shifts, helping ensure output, quality, and team engagement.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar supervisory role, ideally within a factory.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to motivate team and perform under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Lead and monitor day-by-hour performance to meet output and quality targets.
• Ensure resources meet required output and quality with Factory/Production Managers.
• Oversee packing and transfer functions within the factory environment.
• Collaborate with colleagues at all levels to drive continuous improvement.
