Our client is seeking a team-oriented packaging expert to bring their knowledge and experience in packaging technology. You will be a key member of the product and process team, actively involved in new project development, working closely with sales, marketing, operations, and supply chain to ensure successful project execution from inception to launch.

  • Maintain and develop packaging specifications and documentation
  • Manage supplier assessments, audits, and certifications
  • Ensure compliance with ethical trading requirements and conduct audits as needed

EPD & NPD Development Process:

  • Support operational packaging trials and oversee their outcomes
  • Collaborate with marketing, sales, and nutritional teams during NPD and EPD processes
  • Coordinate with various internal teams to meet project timelines, budgets, and data accuracy

Lead and enhance the packaging development process, including:

  • Determining packaging sizes for NPD
  • Managing cost-saving initiatives related to packaging
  • Ensuring packaging functions and compatibility
  • Tracking and reporting product changes
  • Overseeing artwork approval and managing related files
  • Defining packaging requirements and liaising with internal and external stakeholders
  • Visiting suppliers and resolving packaging issues

Candidate Profile:

  • Extensive experience in packaging, preferably in the food industry
  • Knowledge of FFS technology and food packaging law compliance
  • Familiarity with packaging equipment and materials
  • Self-motivated with strong initiative
  • Capable of managing tight deadlines and adapting to change
