We are recruiting for a Packaging Printer Team Leader to join our team in Salford. This is a client-facing role in which you will have the opportunity to work with some of the world's leading brands.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  1. Oversee the management and development of key client relationships, including DS Smith, Amcor, and smaller printer accounts.
  2. Drive the execution of client-specific projects, ensuring effective progression through all stages—from initiation and monitoring to timely delivery and accurate invoicing.
  3. Lead and manage both the Manchester-based and on-site teams, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  4. Resolve any conflicts or issues that arise during project execution, ensuring projects remain on track and maintaining high standards of quality across all client deliverables.
  5. Coordinate and input work orders into the Management Information System (MIS) for streamlined processing.
  6. Ensure accurate and timely invoicing for all completed projects, adhering to established financial protocols.
  7. Manage the relationship with the Polymer production team, fostering collaboration and ensuring seamless operations.
  8. Prepare and present monthly management reports to the site management team.
  9. Conduct ongoing performance evaluations and annual reviews for team members to support continuous development.
  10. Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned to support operational efficiency and business growth.
QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS
  1. Enjoy working as part of a team.
  2. Ability to communicate with staff, clients, and at all levels.
  3. Good IT skills including MS Word, Excel, and Outlook as you will be responsible for amending excel spreadsheets.
  4. Good literacy and numeracy skills as you will be producing reports and documents.
  5. Work under pressure and be able to determine and organise priorities, with minimal supervision.
