Smurfit Westrock is seeking a General Manager to oversee site performance, leading Sales, Operations, Quality, Health & Safety and financial results. The role shapes strategy, builds a high-performing team and drives sustainable, profitable growth while strengthening customer relationships and market position.

You will own the commercial agenda, understand market dynamics, and translate insights into growth initiatives, ensuring products and services meet evolving customer needs.

Qualificações

• 5–7+ years of senior experience in manufacturing, operations, commercial or related environment.
• Proven leadership with accountability for business performance, sales growth and operational delivery.
• Strong market understanding and ability to translate insight into strategy.
• Experience developing and implementing business strategy for profitable growth.
• Financial, budgeting and P&L management capability.
• Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder relations.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the management team and take accountability for Sales, Operations, Quality, HSE and P&L.
• Develop and execute the site strategy for sustainable, profitable growth.
• Own commercial and sales strategy with clear growth targets with customers and sales teams.
• Maintain market insight to shape future product and service offerings.
• Build strong customer relationships and lead commercial discussions.
• Develop budgets, forecasts and financial controls with profitability focus.
• Drive operational excellence, productivity, quality and on-time delivery.
• Ensure production plans meet customer and market requirements.
• Lead continuous improvement and capital investment programmes.
• Ensure compliance with Safety, Health, Environmental, Quality and employment rules.
• Create high-performance, customer-focused culture through leadership and development.
• Collaborate with regional and corporate functions to maximise performance.
• Lead change and implement initiatives effectively.
